IDPIC / Legal
Scope and the information involved
This policy covers IDPIC accounts, photo preparation, orders, downloads and customer contact. The information needed can include account email and sign-in state, a selected document type, uploaded portraits and generated files, task/order identifiers, payment status, device/browser details and operational records needed to deliver or protect the service. A portrait may concern you or someone you are authorised to assist. Do not upload unrelated identity documents or another person’s photo without permission. Local free export and cloud processing have different data paths, as explained below.

encrypted processing
IDPIC is an independent private service and is not affiliated with any government, embassy, or consulate. Final acceptance always belongs to the issuing authority.
Why and where processing occurs
The local free export option, when available, prepares the image within the browser without creating a cloud processing task. Choosing cloud processing involves sending the portrait to the service and the necessary image-processing providers, then preparing access to the resulting files. Account and payment information support authentication, order fulfilment and customer requests. Required hosting, storage, processing, payment and email services may handle the information necessary for their part of the workflow. We do not promise that all data stays in one country or that no third party processes any information; applicable provider arrangements and processing locations can differ.
Photo retention: 7 days unpaid, 30 days paid
Our photo policy provides automatic deletion after 7 days for unpaid tasks and after 30 days for paid tasks. This covers the task’s uploaded portrait and related processing/result files. Check the expiry associated with your task and save the copies you need before it ends. A completed download does not itself trigger immediate deletion. These are photo-retention periods, not a promise that every account, payment or support record is erased at the same time. Download permissions or link expiry are also distinct from confirmation that the underlying files have been deleted.
Earlier deletion at your request
You may initiate deletion before the automatic deadline using the available task or account controls. If you cannot locate the option or it does not complete, contact support@tryidpic.com with the relevant reference and the scope you want deleted. An ownership check may be needed to prevent unauthorised deletion. Deleting the cloud photo does not delete copies you downloaded or independently sent elsewhere. Removing cookies, signing out or uninstalling a browser does not send a cloud deletion request. Confirm the deletion result rather than assuming a closed window completed it.
Transaction, support and security records
Order and payment records can be needed for reconciliation, refund review, dispute handling and legal obligations. Support correspondence and security records can also have purposes independent of the photo file. They are not automatically removed merely because a portrait reaches its deadline or is deleted early. Requests about these records are evaluated by data category, purpose and applicable requirements. If a continuing legal, accounting or dispute-handling obligation applies, the relevant record may need to be retained independently of the photo file.
Security and limits of protection
The service uses encrypted transport and controls access to uploaded files. Processing may require authorised systems and necessary providers to read the image; this is not a claim of encryption that prevents the processing service itself from accessing it. Do not share private preview links or leave downloaded portraits on shared devices. If you suspect unauthorised access, stop sharing the affected link and contact support with the time and relevant reference. Do not include a password, full card details or unnecessary identity documents in an initial report.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction or deletion and, where applicable, restriction, objection or portability. Explain which information and account or task the request concerns. Identity or authority checks help prevent disclosure to the wrong person; any verification material should be limited to what is necessary. Optional analytics choices are separate from essential account and task functions. To choose again, reset the saved site data in your browser and reload. This may also reset sign-in or local task state. Third-party sites that you visit independently have their own policies.
Children’s photos and policy updates
A parent, legal guardian or otherwise authorised person must have the right to provide a child’s portrait and act on related requests. The photo must be used for a lawful purpose; supplying it to IDPIC does not grant permission to publish it as a testimonial or an example. This policy may be updated when the service or relevant requirements change. Contact support@tryidpic.com for questions about the current policy or a specific task. For photo files, the periods are 7 days unpaid and 30 days paid, with earlier user-initiated deletion available.
Delete portrait data
Unpaid task photos are automatically deleted after 7 days and paid task photos after 30 days. You may initiate earlier deletion from the available task or account controls. If the option is unavailable or fails, contact support using the address below and identify the task. Downloaded copies and transaction records are handled separately.
