What cookies and local storage are
Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of browser storage used to recognise a session, remember language or country choices and maintain progress through multi-step workflows.

Storage we use
Essential storage supports security, sign-in, language, country preferences, photo creation and checkout. Functional storage may remember explicit choices. Optional measurement should be used only when enabled to understand aggregate usage.
Third-party services
Payment, performance or analytics providers may set their own storage when their functions are enabled. Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms, and non-essential uses should provide a transparent choice.
Managing browser storage
Browser settings can inspect, delete or block cookies and site data. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, saved preferences, upload progress or checkout from working correctly.
Essential storage and its purpose
Essential storage can maintain an authenticated or guest session, protect a request, remember the selected language and preserve progress that the workflow needs. Browser local storage is different from a cookie, but both can hold service-related state. A saved session on a shared device should be treated with care. Blocking all storage can prevent sign-in or task recovery. If you clear it while a task is unfinished, you may lose the local reference used to reopen that task. Save the relevant non-sensitive reference first when appropriate.
Optional analytics and changing your choice
Optional analytics is separate from the essential photo workflow. When configured, it is loaded after you allow analytics; declining it should not prevent the core photo functions from being used. The site stores your choice. To choose again, clear the saved site data in your browser and reload; doing so may also reset sign-in or local task state. Analytics events are designed to describe workflow steps rather than send portrait content, file names, account email or task identifiers. Withdrawing consent stops future optional measurement; it cannot recall information already sent. See the privacy policy for related processing.
Clearing browser data is not deleting cloud photos
Removing a cookie or a local browser reference affects that browser. It does not send a request to erase a remotely stored portrait, cancel a paid order or reverse a payment. Similarly, deleting a cloud photo does not remove copies that you have already downloaded. Cloud photo deletion follows the 7-day unpaid and 30-day paid policy, with earlier deletion available. Use the task/account controls or contact support for a portrait deletion request; use browser settings for cookies and local site data.
