IDPIC is an independent online photo-preparation tool for passport, visa and identity-document applicants. Our role is to make document requirements and file preparation easier to understand. Our document photo services
Users can start by selecting a country or region and the exact passport, visa or identity-document type. The workflow loads the relevant dimensions, background, composition and file constraints, then helps them crop the portrait, position the head, adjust the background and prepare either a digital submission file or a print layout. Keeping these steps together makes it easier to spot an issue before downloading.
How sizing works, and what it does not prove
In the local export workflow, IDPIC uses the selected preset’s pixel dimensions when available; otherwise it derives output pixels from millimeters and the preset resolution. It crops centrally to the target aspect ratio and resizes without stretching the face. This aligns the file geometry with the selected preset; it does not prove that the preset is current or that every head-size requirement is satisfied. Automated checks estimate face position and flag preparation issues. Those estimates are not a ruler measurement or official certification. Review the crop against the source and the receiving authority’s current instructions. A blurred, shadowed or obstructed face needs a better source photograph.
Accessibility and support
The workflow is designed for mobile and desktop browsers, so users can move from document selection to upload and download without first learning professional image software. Clear fields, status messages and next-step prompts explain what each action does, including on smaller screens where requirements still need to remain visible. For upload, processing, download, account or payment issues, the support page accepts the document type, affected step, device and visible error details needed to investigate.
How to check and challenge our guidance
Use the source link and its application scope, not an “official” label alone. A passport source may not apply to a visa or another identity document. Our country examples distinguish the rule itself from practical shooting advice, and teaching scenarios are not customer testimonials. If a guide disagrees with your receiving office, follow that office and email support@tryidpic.com with the page URL and official reference. You do not need to attach a portrait or identity document to report a wording error.
Choosing a service that fits your application
IDPIC brings document guides, photo checks and file preparation into one workflow. Start with the exact country, document and application channel; a visa upload and a passport print can require different formats even for the same destination. A listed guide does not mean every paid processing option is available for that document. Use the options actually displayed for your selection. Where an authority prohibits digital alteration, preserve an unedited source and follow its instructions rather than assuming a background change or an automated result will be accepted.
Privacy throughout the workflow
The free local export option, when available, prepares the photo in the browser without creating a cloud photo-processing task. Cloud processing involves uploading the portrait and using the necessary processing and delivery services. These are different workflows and should not be described as having identical data handling. Our photo policy is automatic deletion after 7 days for unpaid tasks and 30 days for paid tasks, with earlier deletion available on request. Downloading is not itself the deletion trigger.
